Mugenya, Sonko Hold High-Level Talks on Empowerment Politics and Grassroots Leadership

A renewed call for people-centered leadership took center stage when the aspirant and incoming Member of Parliament for Funyula Constituency, Hon. Michael Mugenya met the former Nairobi Governor, Mike Sonko in a strategic engagement anchored on Kenya’s political discourse toward empowerment-driven governance.

The meeting, marked by honest reflections and forward-looking dialogue, also painted a longstanding mentor-mentee relationship between the two leaders. Their relationship is one that traces back to Sonko’s political journey as former Makadara MP, Nairobi Senator, and later Governor. Over time, Hon.
